The decision of the Supreme Court in Washington may reverse the situation of women's rights years back.
It must not be accepted as a fate.
For years, women's organizations have fought for the right to vote and be elected, for equal pay, equal opportunities and also for the right to choose whether to continue an unwanted pregnancy.
When the well-known ruling in Row v. Wade's judgment was passed in 1973, there was a precedent-setting ruling.

It was not a celebration of abortion but clear rules - abortion in the first trimester of pregnancy without state intervention, in the middle third the various states were allowed to enact reasonable laws on the subject taking into account the woman's health, and in the last trimester of pregnancy the state was allowed to ban abortions.
All this is meant to preserve the life and health, mental and physical, of the woman.

The possibility of having an abortion is intended to protect, first and foremost, the weaknesses in society, girls and young women, who are pregnant and clear to them and the environment that they have no ability to raise the baby.
Now the new ruling states that even a girl who was raped and became pregnant will have to give birth to a child whose father was the rapist.
The same goes for pregnancies from incest, or one-time sex.
Studies show that most of the victims will be girls of Hispanic or African-American descent, who are already among the weakest in society.
The gaps that already exist will increase.
And the demagogic, conservative argument that from the moment it is created the fetus has a right to life - does not take into account the harm to the woman, and ignores the women's right to free will.

There are bodies in Israel that want to ban abortions.
