Queen Elizabeth and her grandson Prince Harry are two who simply like each other.

Not always easy for a loving grandmother to stay on course when the grandson is turning his back on the crown.

But she can refuse him almost nothing, reveals an insider.

LONDON – Prince Harry (37) may have retired from his royal role, but he remains very close to Queen Elizabeth II (96).

A friend of the royals now confirms what has been seen on numerous occasions: "She adores him," reveals the insider.

Although she has dedicated her life to the crown, she can hardly refuse the second son of her son Prince Charles (73).

Queen Elizabeth II: "She adores him," Insider reveals about her love for Prince Harry

People magazine is now exclusively devoting an entire issue to the unique relationship between the British monarch and her grandson Prince Harry.

"The Queen needs to be able to manage being a grandmother but also see how that impacts the institution as a whole," says a royal insider.

The ongoing disputes after the retirement of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle (40) as senior royals were not without consequences.

But even six years later, nothing has changed at the same wavelength.

Few members of Her Majesty's extended family could ask her a favor like her.

"If Harry asked, the Queen would say yes because she adores him

," the insider explains of the relationship between the monarch and the Duke of Sussex.

For Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth II jumps over her shadow

To further Harry's initiative to host the Invictus Games in 2016, she even showed off her acting skills and humorous side.

Together with the then President Barack Obama (60) and First Lady Michelle Obama (58), Prince Harry and she set up a cheeky clip.

You can clearly see in the video how much fun the queen had.

Not everyone is so forgiving of Harry's impetuous nature. For brother Prince William (40), the relationship of trust is apparently more permanently damaged by the rifts.

Even Prince Charles finds no right access.

But the relationship with the regent has remained intact – they keep in touch, Harry visited the queen at Windsor Castle in April and introduced her to his daughter Lilibet.
