Meanwhile, not a session goes by in which shreds don't fly.

On Thursday evening, this was no different in the Murnau market town council.

In particular, CSU parliamentary group spokesman Rudolf Utzschneider talked himself into a rage.

What Mayor Rolf Beuting (ÖDP/Bürgerforum) did not leave unanswered.

Murnau

– With 26 points, the agenda on Thursday evening was well filled.

But the meeting of the Murnau market councils was over faster than expected.

After about 75 minutes the public part was finished.

However, the evening did not pass entirely without debates.

CSU parliamentary group spokesman Rudolf Utzschneider initially spoke on the subject of the post office building.

He noted that it had been known for over a year that the property would be vacant.

Felix Burger (SPD) has also had an application for more than a year, proposing a so-called benefit analysis in order to initiate a social and cultural subsequent use of the area.

Utzschneider also recalled that the municipal council did not want long-term rental.

He was alluding to the fact that the administration had proposed at the beginning of June that

to lease the property for at least five years.

In short: Utzschneider emphasized that he hoped that "the slowing down" would now come to an end.

And that the project "will be tackled promptly".

"Personal Perspective"

The target of Utzschneider's criticism was once again Mayor Rolf Beuting (ÖDP/Bürgerforum), who immediately opposed it.

"That's her very personal point of view," said the mayor.

He implements the decisions of the municipal council in substance and word for word.

It was agreed that the old post office could be used interim.

However, a short-term rental did not work.

This is how the proposal for a five-year period came about.

Beuting emphasized: "Nothing will be delayed at all.

I reject that.” Whereupon Utzschneider said: “That is your personal opinion.” Ultimately, the municipal council decided that the said benefit analysis should be prepared.

Several alternatives can be evaluated and compared.

While Utzschneider's tone was still moderate when it came to post, he got angry about another point.

It wasn't really anything earth-shattering.

The municipal councils regularly receive e-mails as blind copies from the administration.

The recipient does not see who else received the message in BCC (blind carbon copy).

Likewise, everyone else cannot see who the email was sent to in BCC.

Utzschneider had already pushed for a change with an application for a long time.

He wanted all addressees of e-mails from the mayor or the administration to members of the municipal council to be written openly in the address field or the cc field.

"Using the bcc function is expressly prohibited," says Utzschneider's application, which was dealt with in the main management committee in May.

"highly ridiculous"

Since, according to the CSU parliamentary group spokesman, nothing has changed to date, he asked what the administration was waiting for.

Nina Herweck-Bockhorni, deputy manager, referred to an IT consultant who, according to her, recommended using the bcc field.

"Ultimately, it's a decision of the administration." Utzschneider saw it differently: "If a committee wants it, I'll do it.

It's a matter of three minutes." The discussion was "highly ridiculous".

Utzschneider flared up and didn't want to calm down.

Which prompted Beuting to criticize the "tone" of the Christian Social.

It is now “in every meeting” that “they become absent.

I forbid that our employees are yelled at like that”.

In terms of content, Mehr-Bewegen parliamentary group spokesman Phillip Zoepf ("It's a bad habit not to see who this is for"), his parliamentary group colleague Wolfgang Köglmayr ("We are the rulers in this house") and yesterday to the Tagblatt were on Utzschneider's side Maria Schägger, parliamentary group spokeswoman for the Free Voters.

"If there is a resolution, it must be implemented." If this does not happen, "I have to inform the local council why I am not implementing it".

If this had happened, Schägger believes, then such a discussion as on Thursday evening would not have taken place.

The end of the song: The administration is now drafting a letter to the councillors.

In this they can agree that they support a change in the e-mail dispatch.
