The activities of the Islamic National Conference in Support of Resistance in All Its Forms kicked off today in its eleventh session in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the presence of intellectual and political figures.
Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said in a speech during the opening, "The only solution to confront (Israel) is the resistance in all its forms, and any other solution is a waste of time," stressing that the resistance is fully prepared and is today in its strongest stage.
Qassem added, "(Israel) believes that the threats will cause anxiety in the axis of resistance, but they are empty threats," explaining that the presence of the Zionist entity in the region is based on wars and cannot continue without them.
He pointed out that any political option sponsored by the West was part of the support for the aggressive and expansionist occupation, which is not limited to Palestine, indicating that the United States is working to harness everything to serve the Zionist entity, while the resistance forces are working to preserve the sovereignty and dignity of the country.
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ziyad Al-Nakhala, called for supporting the resistance in Palestine, explaining that the enemy could not break the will of the Palestinian people.
Al-Nakhalah stressed that the achievements of the resistance are no longer hidden from anyone, from the victory of the resistance in Lebanon in 2000 to the victory in 2006, in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, adding, “The Palestinian people are going through a historical epic despite all the difficult and complex circumstances surrounding them.
Statements were made that stressed the ability of the resistance axis to achieve victories and stressed the need to confront the US-Zionist plot in the region.
