The Children's Public Library in Lattakia Governorate has established a set of interactive developmental activities for a number of sons and daughters of total disability residing in the governorate.
The Wounded Al-Watan project explained in a post on its Facebook page that the activities took into account their suitability for age groups from 4 to 15 years, as they addressed the younger children with interactive games and artistic applications, in addition to a puppet theater, showing a purposeful short film and conducting a discussion about it.
For the older age groups, paragraphs were devoted to intelligence games and life skills.
The project indicated that the initiative is the first of its kind and comes in coordination between the public children's library and the project, with the aim of periodically including children of total disability in the governorate in its activities, pointing out that work is underway to expand the initiative to include other governorates as well.
