Storms are still keeping parts of Bavaria in suspense.
The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of heavy rain between Rosenheim and Landsberg until midnight.
Further east around Bad Reichenhall there can be gusts of wind up to 70 km/h, heavy rain and small-grain hail by the end of the day.
Wind gusts of up to 70 km/h and heavy rain are forecast for the region from Kelheim to Regensburg until midnight.
Heavy precipitation is also to be expected in Franconia from Forchheim to Neumarkt during this time.
North of Bamberg there are also gusts of wind up to 70 km/h and small-grain hail.

Heavy rain is still haunting the region around Bad Tölz, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Landsberg until 11 p.m.

Northeast of Deggendorf, heavy rain and gusts of wind up to 70 km/h should still be on offer until 10:15 p.m.

The weather situation in Bavaria has now largely calmed down.
The German Weather Service (DWD) is currently warning of gusts of wind up to 70 km/h, heavy rain and small-grain hail between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, as well as for the region east of Augsburg and a strip on the Czech border near Freyung and Regen .

The storms are moving further east.
Around Bad Reichenhall there are gusts of wind with up to 80 km/h, heavy rain and small-grain hail until 5 p.m.
A little further north around Traunstein, the German Weather Service (DWD) warns of heavy rain, gusts of wind up to 100 km/h and hail until 6 p.m.
Up to Dingolfing there can be heavy rain, gusts of wind up to 70 km/h and hail up to 6 p.m., at the Czech border even up to 7 p.m.
A band of thunderstorms is also moving across Franconia.
Wind gusts of up to 70 km/h, heavy rain and hail are to be expected around Kulmbach, Bayreuth and Bamberg until 6 p.m.
The same applies to Nuremberg, Neumarkt, Roth, Schwabach or Neustadt an der Aisch.
In the center, i.e. near Forchheim, Erlangen, Fürth and Ansbach, the gusts of wind will be up to 80 km/h up to 5.30 p.m., and there will also be heavy rain and hail.

The German Weather Service (DWD) is currently warning of storms on the edge of the Alps up to Fürstenfeldbruck and Landsberg.
Around Bad Tölz, Miesbach and Garmisch-Partenkirchen there can be heavy rain up to 4 p.m., heavy gusts of wind up to 100 km/h and hail.
Heavy rain, gusts of wind up to 80 km/h and small-grain hail are possible to the north, west and east - this also affects Munich and the surrounding area.
Storm gusts of up to 80 km/h, heavy rain and hail are also possible in Franconia until 5 p.m.
Around Nördlingen and Weißenburg, the gusts of wind can even reach 90 km/h, and the heavy rain can be heavy.

It will be sunny and warm in Bavaria this weekend.
There is bad news, however.

Weather in Bavaria: Heavy thunderstorms in the Bavarian Forest and near the Alps
First the unpleasant part of the weather report.
Friday is mixed throughout Bavaria.
Many clouds are moving over the Free State - from which it can rain again and again during the day.
But it usually doesn't stay with simple rain.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), there can be a bang.
In his forecast, he writes: "As of noon today, there will be individual thunderstorms from the Allgäu Alps and the Swabian Jura.
In the afternoon and evening there will be thunder and lightning in many places, spreading to the northeast.” Heavy rain (25 l/m2), gusts of wind (80 km/h) and hail are possible in a short time.
"Especially on the edge of the Alps and in the Bavarian Forest, there is a risk of local storms due to heavy rain of up to 40 l/sqm in a short time.
Quantities of up to 70 l/sqm within a few hours, limited to a small space, cannot be ruled out,” the DWD continues.
Only on Saturday night do the storms move towards the Czech Republic and the rain subsides.

Weather in Bavaria: Sunny and warm weekend - then the temperature drop follows
The weekend shows its best side throughout Bavaria.
Hardly a cloud covers the blue sky.
On Saturday the temperatures in the north, for example in Würzburg and Bamberg, will rise to 28 degrees (values from

).
In the south it will stay a little cooler after the thunderstorms.
25 degrees have been announced for Munich and only 24 degrees for Berchtesgaden.
There is also no cloud over the G7 summit in Elmau on Sunday.
The values in the Free State are between 27 and 30 degrees.
Perfect weather for the statesmen of the leading industrial nations to negotiate in the Alpine country.
On Monday it will be even a bit hotter.
Here the values range between 29 degrees in Kempten and 32 degrees in Regensburg.
However, the first thunderstorms will appear in the course of the day.
Hardly any rain on Tuesday night.
On the day itself, however, it can get wet again and again from Swabia to the Bavarian Forest.
The temperatures drop suddenly.
Munich reports only 21 degrees.
In Kempten it's only 19 degrees.
It will be warmest outside of the rainy areas in Würzburg and Passau with 25 degrees.
