The historic "Row v. Wade" ruling in 1973 that allowed states in the United States of America to perform abortions was overturned this weekend by the Supreme Court.
The huge waves of protests created by the decision also hit and flooded Little Israel, as many of our country's celebrities sought to share their hard feelings and fears about a world that instead of moving forward and becoming more comfortable for women, stepped back and made it even harder.
"If someone had told me a decade ago that they would abolish the right to abortion in the United States, I would have replied: lol," wrote morning show host Paula Rosenberg on a screenshot of a news story on the matter.
"As always, the victims are the poor women, the weakened girls who will get into unwanted pregnancies," she added.
"Why does it feel like 'there is a' slave story 'here lately ?!", Tikva Gideon wrote sarcastically.
"Shocking! In the United States, the Western power, women are being denied the basic right to decide on their bodies and their destinies. It's just unbelievable! What year are we in?" Cried sports broadcaster Rotem Israel.
"Very sad news! I'm shocked that in 2022 a woman can not decide on her body!
"What happened today is dark and terrible," said singer Neta Barzilai.
"A day of mourning for the female people. My heart with the American women whose most basic right to vote was denied, and we went back 50 years. What does this say about us as human beings? The world is freaking out!", Rumi Abergil was angry.
"This week is a sad proof that we still have to fight. It costs us our lives. I am not willing to pay more such a price of any woman, girl and girl in our country and in the world. Tired!", Wrote the angry model Moran Atias.
Businesswoman Nicole Reidman also addressed the issue in a special post she brought up in the wake of the shocking news: "Today, after the inconceivable decision to ban abortion in the United States, I felt that all American women in a cage had no right to vote.
