The Donetsk People's Republic Mission in the Joint Ceasefire Monitoring and Coordination Center announced today the killing of 199 civilians and the injury of 2,371 others as a result of the Ukrainian shelling on the territory of the Republic since last February.

The TASS news agency quoted the mission as saying in a statement that during the past 130 days, 199 civilians, including 12 children, were killed and 2,371 civilians, including 148 children, were wounded in the Ukrainian army's shelling on Donetsk territory, during which the army carried out about 5,000 raids and fired more than 42,000 ammunition of different calibers, including 30 missiles. Tochka U ballistic missiles, 112 BM-27 Uragan missiles, and 7,394 BM-21 Grad missiles.

The mission pointed out that the Ukrainian bombing destroyed 4,927 houses and 1,064 civilian infrastructure facilities, including 64 health institutions, 202 educational institutions, 378 social institutions, 31 vital infrastructure sites, and 389 electricity, water and gas lines.

It is noteworthy that during the past months, the authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics have repeatedly announced heavy artillery and missile shelling by the Ukrainian army and ultra-nationalist factions, mainly targeting residential neighborhoods and civilian facilities, especially vital infrastructure facilities.
