A puzzle that the elected nationalists, at the head of the region for seven years, are unable to solve, bogged down, like their predecessors, in the tons of garbage generated by the island each year.

An ever-increasing production of trash cans
The 20-page report reveals an ever-increasing production of garbage cans at a cost higher than the national average, to the detriment of the inhabitants.
Sorting progresses but insufficiently: it painfully reaches 38%.
In 2021, the production of municipal waste per inhabitant was 721 kg in Corsica, i.e. a total production of 243,933 tonnes.
