Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi renewed his country's call for the abolition of the unjust sanctions imposed on the Iranian people.
In an interview with Channel One on Iranian TV last night, Raisi said, “We seek to abort the unjust ban and put it in our priorities because it is unjust against the Iranian people,” noting that the Americans and Europeans did not abide by their commitments, which they were supposed to abide by, and they reneged on the covenant and they must return to it.
Raisi pointed out that at a time when cooperation was ongoing between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency, which issued 15 reports confirming that Iran's peaceful nuclear program had not deviated from its course, and in light of the continuation of negotiations in Vienna, America and Europe adopted a draft resolution against Iran in the IAEA's Board of Governors. It is reprehensible.
Raisi reiterated that the follow-up to the negotiations to lift the embargo in Vienna will take place from a standpoint of strength.
