Matthias Malmedie meets BMW M3 Touring: "Just awesome"

Even before the presentation of the BMW M3 Touring, Matthias Malmedie was allowed to see the power station wagon without camouflage.

It was love at first sight.

Cologne/Nürburg – There are models that car fans have been waiting for all their lives.

One of these vehicles is the BMW M3 Touring.

After 50 years of waiting, this dream has now come true.

One of the first people who was allowed to see the new model undisguised was Matthias Malmedie.

In the run-up to the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, the Grip moderator got a first glimpse of the M3 Touring at the BMW M Test Center in Nürburg.

And that in two different colors: matt black and the legendary Daytona violet.

At the sight of the BMW M3 Touring, Matthias Malmedie goes into raptures.

The only question was: How does Matthias Malmedie like the BMW M3 Touring, which, like the sedan, has the often criticized large kidneys.

The answer of the grip moderator is clear.

"This car is ultra, ultra beautiful," emphasizes the presenter and emphasizes: "I have goosebumps from top to bottom, completely!"

The moderator was particularly impressed by the wide rear end of the BMW M3 Touring.

"These broad cheeks here, that's just unbelievably beautiful." Matthias Malmedie can't get enough of the rear lights – which are already familiar from the limousine.

He is similarly enthusiastic about the carbon sports seats and the sound of the BMW M3 Touring.

"Simply divine," says Matthias Malmedie about the sound of the power station wagon.

"It's just awesome." So it's not surprising that the Grip moderator has long been one of those people who have been calling for a touring version of the M3.

He would love to take it with him.

"Where do I have to sign?" he jokingly asks the Head of Development at BMW M GmbH, Dirk Häcker.

However, Matthias Malmedie was not yet allowed to drive the BMW M3 Touring, unlike the McLaren 765LT.

But it is probably only a matter of time before he chases the power station wagon over the asphalt.

His fans will be happy, because they too think the car is more than successful, as the comments show:
