Montecito – Like many Americans, the Duchess of Sussex (40) is severely affected when children are victims of gun violence, such as the recent shooting spree in Texas.

The US gun laws are part of the problem because children and young people have easy access to guns.

As a mother of two, Meghan Markle has now provided recognition and food for the women's organization calling for a change in the law.

The energetic helpers must have been amazed when they were delivered coffee and donuts by the former actress.

They do their best every day in the organization "Moms Demand Action" to change the gun laws in the USA.

This could prevent future rampages in schools

The organization's chair, Shannon Watts, tweeted Meghan's heartfelt words of thanks to further spread the word about the dedicated mothers' cause.

For her part, the Duchess is making good on the promise of her joint founding with Prince Harry (37) Archewell, who is committed to justice and empowerment of the weak.

Meghan's sympathy is great, not least as the mother of two future school children

As a concerned mother of preschool children, the California native also faces endless torment that could lead to killing sprees.

Sympathy for the victims of the lurking danger in the classroom is evident in every word of her writing.

"To all of you and to your fearless leader, Shannon, I want to say a big thank you for the work you do to keep our children, families and communities safe," Meghan wrote.

The work done by the women is important and deeply appreciated, the Duchess added, before finishing her thanks "as a mother and friend".

True to the motto: deeds instead of words, Meghan jetted over 2,000 kilometers in jeans and a T-shirt to Uvalde in Texas at the end of May, where 19 children and two teachers died in a rampage.

There she knelt at the grave of 10-year-old victim Uziyah Garcia, mourning his life.
