At the end of the 2022 electoral cycle, France finds itself in an unprecedented situation since the birth of the Fifth Republic.

Emmanuel Macron was re-elected on April 24 not on a project but on the rejection of Marine Le Pen.

Eight weeks later, he was curtly repudiated by legislative elections which turned into a referendum against his way of exercising power and left him isolated, with a very relative majority in the Assembly.
