Participants in the Information and Communication Technology Exhibition (HITEC) saw that the exhibition, which represents an information forum, provided an opportunity to see the latest science in the world of information and communication technology.

A number of company representatives confirmed in statements to SANA reporter that the aim of the participation is to achieve a common benefit for them and the recipients of the service, as each company presents its services and products and learns about what other companies offer, in addition to reading the customer’s opinion of the product offered directly without an intermediary, which constitutes a motivational motive to improve the product and develop its quality.

The Executive Director of the Syrian Telecom Company, Eng. Saif Al-Din Al-Hassan, indicated that the company is keen, through its participation, to facilitate the affairs of its subscribers and introduce them to its services, indicating that its pavilion includes a presentation of about 47 electronic services with an explanation of each service separately and an explanation of how to benefit from it.

For his part, Izone Development Manager Abada Hawija stated that getting to know everything new offered by other companies and promoting their services related to network management systems, information storage media, professional network equipment, integrated monitoring systems and others was an incentive to participate in a way that achieves technical and material benefit to the end user and the company.

Yahya Khadem al-Arbaeen from Sinbad Syria e-shopping company pointed out that they seek, through this first participation, to expand and reach all Syrian governorates, pointing out that the exhibition is an opportunity to change the negative thinking about e-shopping, enhance confidence, show how the shopping processes, purchase products, and track the product until it reaches the customer. within the specified conditions.

Within the International Bank for Trade and Finance’s pavilion, Ali Hassan, Personal and Housing Loans Officer, explained that the exhibition achieves the possibility of introducing visitors to the offered loan package, its advantages, installment payment methods, and the amount of interest offered at competitive rates by the Bank.

The deputy board of directors of the “i-Lyra” company for electronic payment, Samer Sewar, confirmed that the “i-Lira” application, which has obtained a license from the National Authority for Network Services and is currently participating in (HITEC), aims to serve commercial service operations within the Syrian market, indicating that the current participation is known Visitors to the application specialized in electronic payment services, such as paying bills, fees, subscriptions, installments, and other electronic services for all institutions in the public and private sectors.

For his part, Mohammad Hajzadeh, Director of Artificial Intelligence in one of the Iranian companies specialized in designing databases for banks, stressed that Syria, which began to improve its living conditions after the war, deserves to reach advanced stages in the field of information and communications technology and the world of digital, noting that Iranian participation in this exhibition enables To exchange experiences and increase it among all participants of different nationalities and to promote cooperation on a larger scale in this field.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the eighth session of the exhibition started last Thursday at the fairgrounds in Damascus and will continue until tomorrow.
