Coping with everyday journeys by bike instead of by car: that is the goal of the "City Cycling" campaign.

It can be cycled again!
Because today the city cycling starts again in the district of Ebersberg.
There is also something to win.
The city cycling of the Climate Alliance will start again this year in the district of Ebersberg.
From today, June 26th, all cyclists (and those who want to become one) can pedal hard for three weeks and enter the kilometers they have ridden in the city cycling app or on the homepage.
In this way, everyone can help to reduce CO₂ emissions.
Because that's what city cycling is all about: Above all, doing the everyday journeys to work or shopping that you might otherwise have done by car, by bike.
This protects the environment, is easy on the wallet and keeps you fit!
City cycling 2021: Ebersberg saves 57 tons of CO2
And this year there will be a competition again: the most beautiful photos of the bike rides will be awarded.
The motto this year is: "Freedom on two wheels".
The prizes include cycling and hiking guides for the Ebersberg district and prize money of up to 100 euros.
1,877 people from the district took part in the campaign last year.
Together they cycled 389,367 kilometers.
This saved a total of 57 tons of CO₂.
Stadtradeln 2022: Anyone can take part
Individuals, teams (families, groups of friends or colleagues), clubs as well as schools or school classes and kindergartens can take part in city cycling.
City cycling 2022 ends on Saturday, July 16th.
Further information on registration is available online at www.stadtradeln.de/landkreis-ebersberg.
