The branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation in As-Suwayda today launched quantities of white and red meat in the city hall for vegetables and fruits, at prices lower than the market, according to those concerned in it.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, “Rabee Ghanem” stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the quantities offered amounted to about 2 tons, and included whole broiler meat, chicken pieces, Hebra, veal and sheep’s meat, indicating that its offer comes within the framework of the institution’s positive intervention in the market.
On the other hand, Ghanem pointed out that the Foundation branch markets about a ton of cherries directly from farmers in order to break the broker’s cycle and supply it to the Foundation’s branch in Damascus governorate, to distribute it to the halls in a way that serves both the farmer and the consumer.
The branch of the Syrian Establishment for Trade in As-Suwayda recently started running mobile cars loaded with vegetables to the neighborhoods of the city of As-Suwayda.
