The Syrian writer and writer, Shatha Nassar, picked a flower from the orchards of southern Lebanon, just as she picked a flower from every orchard in art, and collected it in her books, which became a homogeneous bouquet.

The novel is distinguished by the unity of style and the strength of expression in presenting ideas and harmony in the vision in which the writer Nassar adopted women’s issues and carried them between the folds of 182 pages of medium pieces and was keen to design the cover herself. Watch the launch of its debut three years ago.

Regarding her novel, Nassar says in a statement to SANA reporter: Her idea was formed in the decade of fire that Syria experienced, and it ranged between the established truth and the illusion of escaping from reality.

The Lebanese journalist and writer Rafik Nasrallah saw that Nassar is a writer who is well-versed in the depth of the Arabic language and the craftsmanship of the text. She colors her sentence in a figurative light that is difficult for any writer to own, especially because she is a plastic artist who possesses a modest professionalism in the space of her paintings, adding: “The iris not only blossomed in her novels, but became a perfume on tree leaves".

He explained that this novel has reserved its place in the Arabic novel, where its text carries a special luster, and there is a monologue in the complex of the text and a insistence on rebellion of the elements of the novel itself and the characters in it take their range in arranging their emotions and created a balance between the grace of the sentence and the strength of expression and its irony in favor of the descriptive narrative, which took the form of plastic drawing, which allowed For the reader's mind to feel the visible word.

The literary historian Ahmed Al-Mufti explained that the strength of the novel is the magic of the word, the splendor of the wording and the statement, the significance of the image, the straightforwardness of the narration, an understanding of the function of literature, philosophy and reality filled with tales and strangeness with a bit of anecdote and valuable truth, and each chapter carries the transparency of reality in an interesting manner despite the dread of the situation.

Al-Mufti pointed out that the novel tells the story of a family linked by the unseen and fate with the bond of sin, to eventually produce remorse, forgiveness and integrity in a surprising style that emerged from the forgotten past that took place between the protagonists of the novel, indicating that the words formed a bridge with a graceful plot and harmony with meaning.

It is noteworthy that Shatha Nassar, the daughter of Aleppo, despite her scientific specialization in the field of biochemistry and her professionalism for a period of her life teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Damascus University, but she imbibed a love of heritage, music, literature and plastic art and excelled in drawing portraits and participated in 1967 in the establishment of the artistic branch for amateur girls in the Directorate of the Arab Cultural Center As the first girls’ playing group, she studied violin at the Conservatory in Aleppo, and her first publication was the book “Sabah Fakhri, Biography and Heritage,” which came as a sublime message to honor the original art and the ancient Aleppine heritage.
