And reveals more secrets.
Baden-Baden – His family has kept Thomas Gottschalk (72; everything about his life and career) out of the public eye as much as possible and moved to Los Angeles with them.
He wanted to isolate himself, to withdraw from the hype surrounding his person in Germany.
Most recently, he gave an interview on
RTL
for the first time together with his eldest son Roman Gottschalk (39) .
Once the blood of the public has been tasted, the son immediately follows up.
In the

, Roman talks about his father's casual manner when it comes to moderation – and that he doesn't have it in common with him.

Thomas Gottschalk is “casual, funny and spontaneous” – son Roman “often thinks too much”
Roman Gottschalk gave his very first interview to Frauke Ludowig (58) – and she then raved about the “incredibly close bond” between father and son.
They are "loving, happy, close".
However, the two Gottschalk men are very different, as Roman now confirms in the
picture
interview – both in character and in their style of clothing.
“I am quiet by nature and rather shy.
Dad is easygoing, funny and spontaneous with his sayings.
I, on the other hand, often worry too much,” explains the Gottschalk son, who is a father himself.
Thomas Gottschalk (information on family, children and wife) adds:
“No one has ever heard me say such a sentence, and I have never thought too much about it.
Too much talk, but I'm glad he didn't turn into a slob."

He can afford it.” Thomas Gottschalk adds: “I never wanted to dress up and felt that I simply belonged in the clothes I was wearing.
Gray suits don't suit me."
Thomas Gottschalk is considered a role model for his son Roman
For Roman, his father is a role model, whom he often visits now that he is living in Germany again.
"I want to maintain our close relationship.
I raise my little son the way I was raised.
Dad is my role model.
I know that I can talk to him about anything," said Roman Gottschalk.
He then also touched on how the son had experienced the separation of his parents Thomas and Thea and how he now stands by his father's new girlfriend: "Dad is happy, I'm happy about that.
Of course, the separation of my parents was a shock at first.
But my mother is also doing well and I see her more often now than I used to.”
