Local elected officials not all coming from the same currents of thought but united in our fight against extremes, we are launching today an appeal for responsibility.
Close to our fellow citizens, we feel their concerns about the political and institutional crisis situation in which our country finds itself.
By not granting an absolute majority to any political force, the French wanted to bring about a culture of dialogue and compromise in France.
This message, as unexpected as it is powerful, should encourage us to change our model.
We must put an end to the logic, which has long prevailed, of bloc against bloc.
The coalition is the only way out of the deadlock.
It will have to bring together personalities who have disagreements.
Sometimes even adversaries.
But we will not save it.

All the parliamentary groups of the Republican arch must now sit around the table to negotiate a government agreement.
In the days to come, they must work…
