A cyclist was able to "celebrate his second birthday" on Saturday, the police note.
The 64-year-old suffered a heart attack on Kesselberg.
Kochel am See – Courageous first responders allegedly saved the life of a cyclist on Saturday on Kesselberg.
According to the police, the 64-year-old man from Untermerzbach in Lower Franconia was on the B11 between Walchensee and Kochel at around 2 p.m.
He suffered a heart attack near Urfeld and fell.

His great luck in this dire situation was that three motorcyclists independently stopped and recognized the man's life-threatening situation.
According to the police, two of the bikers immediately took life-saving measures.
The third immediately made an emergency call.

Until the arrival of the BRK, an emergency doctor and later a Bundeswehr rescue helicopter, which was stationed in the region because of the G7 summit, the first responders managed to maintain the vital functions of the 64-year-old through their successful resuscitation measures.

According to the police, the 64-year-old regained consciousness in the Murnau accident clinic and is currently on the mend.
