One night in February, the Schätzl chapel in Pliening and several herb gardens in Poing were damaged, now again: unknown persons tried to set the chapel and gardens on fire.
Poing/Pliening - For the second time, vandals raged on the herb gardens at Bergfeldsee and at the Schätzl chapel in Pliening (about one kilometer away).
Presumably both then and now in the same night.
In mid-February, unknown persons set fire to the chapel at the end of Griesfeldstraße in Pliening and damaged two saints and a prayer bench, and also devastated several plots of herb gardens on Bergfeldsee.

The current acts happened in the night from Saturday to Sunday.
According to the police, an attempt was made to set fire to the chapel's wooden door using antifreeze - which fortunately failed.
However, the frame was singed.
A wooden panel was also kicked out of the door.
The owner of the private chapel, Gregor Schätzl, estimates the damage at around 1000 euros.
In February, according to Schätzl, the material damage was around 3,000 euros.

Susi Manda is angry and desperate as she stands on her plot of herb gardens north of the Poinger Bergfeldsee on Sunday afternoon.
For the second time, strangers raged there;
They set fire to a greenhouse device and a plastic container on Manda's surface, the garden tools housed in it are completely broken.
Boards were torn from a wooden bench on a neighboring plot and a wooden box was demolished.
"I don't feel like it anymore and I'll stop here," says Susi Manda.
The lease costs 60 euros a year for the private plot where the Poingerin grows various types of vegetables.
Now she doesn't like it anymore: "I'll give up the plot."

The private herb gardens north of the Bergfeldsee were opened a year ago, and numerous citizens garden there in their free time.
As is the case on the 90 plots to the east of the sports center that are offered by the gardening association.
The herb gardens at Bergfeldsee also go back to the initiative of the association.
Police Poing asks for information
