The government has announced the following 14 personnel transfers:

(1) The current Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce, Industry and Tourism) Li Minzhen will be appointed as Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development on 1 July 2022;

(2) The current Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Creative Industries) Leung Cheuk-man will be appointed as Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service on 1 July 2022;

(3) The current Permanent Secretary for Food and Health (Food), Lau Li-kwan, will be the Permanent Secretary for Environment and Ecology (Food) on 1 July 2022;

(4) The current Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) Chan Mei-po will serve as Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics on 1 July 2022;

(5) The current Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Housing) / Director of Housing, Wong Tin-yu, will be appointed as Permanent Secretary for Housing / Director of Housing on July 1, 2022;

(6) The current Permanent Secretary for Food and Health (Health) Chan Chung-ching will be appointed as Permanent Secretary for Medical and Health on 1 July 2022;

(7) The current Permanent Secretary for the Environment / Director of Environmental Protection, Mr Tse Siu-wah, will be appointed as Permanent Secretary for the Environment and Ecology (Environment) / Director of Environmental Protection on 1 July 2022;

(8) The current Permanent Secretary of the Home Affairs Bureau, Wong Chi-cho, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau on July 1, 2022;

(9) The current Administrative Commissioner of the Department of Justice, Fu Xiaohui, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs on July 1, 2022, replacing Deng Renguang who will take a pre-retirement leave;

(10) The current Permanent Secretary of the Innovation and Technology Bureau, Choi Shuk-han, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau on 1 July 2022.

The current Director of the Celebration Coordination Office, Mak Teck Wai, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau on July 20, 2022, replacing Choi Shu-han, who has taken a pre-retirement leave by then;

(11) The current Permanent Secretary of the Chief Executive's Office, Lin Xueli, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs and Youth Affairs on 1 July 2022;

(12) The current Director of Broadcasting, Li Baiquan, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Security on 1 July 2022;

(13) The current Director of Policy Innovation and Coordination Office, Ms Ho Pei-ling, will be the Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning and Lands) in the fourth quarter of 2022 (the exact date will be announced later);

(14) The current Secretary-General of the Chief Executive's Office, Cheng Chung-wai, will be appointed as the Permanent Secretary of the Chief Executive's Office on July 1, 2022.
