China Evergrande Group, which has reported financial distress, was petitioned by a company in the Pacific island country of Samoa last Friday (24th), asking the High Court to order it to be wound up.
According to the website of the judiciary, the case is scheduled to be heard in the High Court on August 31 this year.
Top Shine Global Limited of Intershore Consult (Samoa) Limited, whose registered address is in Samoa, filed a winding-up petition with China Evergrande Group as a creditor.
