Dangerous walk on the tracks at Cologne Central Station: Police warn of railway systems

  • Railway facilities are not a playground!

  • No shortcut is worth risking your life!

  • Only step onto the tracks at the crossings provided for this purpose!

  • Keep your distance from passing trains and don't underestimate the pull!

  • Trains cannot swerve and have a long braking distance!

Since the train drivers of two trains initiated emergency braking by stepping on the tracks and to prevent a possible collision, the adolescent has to answer for the dangerous intervention in rail traffic.

Furthermore, the woman could be billed for the costs of the railway company: in addition to a diversion, 13 partial failures and three failures, there were a total of 1522 minutes of delay on 58 trains.
