An 18-year-old woman caused almost 60 trains to be delayed at Cologne Central Station.
She had followed the instructions of her "inner voice".
Cologne – She should have listened to the police instead of listening to her inner voice: On Saturday evening (June 25), a young woman around Cologne Central Station caused a total delay of 1522 minutes in 58 trains due to her stay in the platform area.
Two trains initiated emergency braking, the police said.
Luckily no one was injured.
Federal police forces followed the track runner into the city and took her into protective custody, as reported by 24RHEIN.

Dangerous walk on the tracks at Cologne Central Station: Police warn of railway systems
Railway facilities are not a playground!
No shortcut is worth risking your life!
Only step onto the tracks at the crossings provided for this purpose!
Keep your distance from passing trains and don't underestimate the pull!
Trains cannot swerve and have a long braking distance!
Since the train drivers of two trains initiated emergency braking by stepping on the tracks and to prevent a possible collision, the adolescent has to answer for the dangerous intervention in rail traffic.
Furthermore, the woman could be billed for the costs of the railway company: in addition to a diversion, 13 partial failures and three failures, there were a total of 1522 minutes of delay on 58 trains.
Again and again people in the platform area cause delays and blockages in Cologne Central Station.
At the end of February, several people had entered the platforms at the main station for carnival in Cologne.
