People around the world are longing for a relaxation of the situation, for peace and tranquillity.
So it's more than fitting that the G7 participants meet in the yoga room at Schloss Elmau.

Of course, the room was prepared according to the occasion.
The flags in the background, the large wooden table in the middle, comfortable armchairs and a new floor.
And instead of yoga mats and people contorting themselves, you see the heads of state and government of the most important democratic industrial nations in the world.
But a look at the Schloss Elmau website shows that the G7 conference room is a yoga room in everyday business.
"Cultivate the art of relaxation at daily yoga classes, yoga retreats and the Annual Yoga Summit with outstanding teachers of the most effective yoga disciplines," reads the website.
And sees the room with the high windows, the wooden ceiling beams - and recognizes the conference venue, from which countless photos are currently being sent around the world.

Whether specifically selected as a yoga room or based on the beautiful mountain panorama in the background - so far the summit meeting in Elmau has been harmonious and relaxed.
Not only the politicians are relaxed, make jokes about Putin and pose almost amicably in front of the legendary wooden bench that made Merkel and Obama famous at the time.

The demonstrations, whether in Munich or on site in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, are peaceful and calm.
So far there have been no major clashes with the police.
The organizers of the G7 summit in Elmau, despite a lot of criticism for choosing the tranquil region again as the venue, should be satisfied with the sales of the major event so far.
