Markus Söder already caused a stir with his outfit at the reception of Joe Biden at the G7 summit.

Now a completely different discussion has flared up on the Internet.

Munich – The G7 summit has been taking place in Elmau since Sunday (June 26).

Before that, the world's most important heads of state traveled to Bavaria.

For example, Markus Söder received US President Joe Biden at the airport.

At the reception of the democrat, CSU boss Söder wore an outfit for which he received a lot of criticism online.

But the rest of the reception committee also caused a stir.

Numerous people in costume lined up as Biden and Söder walked past.

"Germans never dress like this when I come," British journalist Ian Bremmer wrote on Twitter.

"These are Bavarians and they are very special Germans," someone answered him.
