French politician Herve Goffin, a member of the European Parliament, stressed that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) represents the greatest threat to world peace because it pushes the European Union to confront Russia and China and strives to destroy the (buffer zone) by forcing the neutral countries to take sides and stand on one side in this confrontation.
"Thanks to NATO's wide propaganda, the alliance is transforming from a transatlantic alliance into a global structure, where NATO considers the European Union to be a (registration office for its members)," Goffin said in an interview with the Russian news agency TASS.
Accordingly, it “puts a number of countries that were never part of the European Union geographically or politically under increasing pressure to be recognized in the military alliance.”
Goffin stressed that NATO represents the greatest threat to peace in the entire world because it encircles Russia and is preparing to encircle China, noting that the European Union's submission to NATO, which in fact is in Anglo-American interests, is strange for Europe, as a result of the shocking ignorance of European governments and their position there at the head of European institutions. .
Goffin added, "American diplomacy has fallen into the hands of a group of neo-conservatives who dream of crushing any enemy on a religious basis," pointing out that the danger lies in ignoring the reality that has become the advantage of American and thus European policy today, considering that there is nothing more dangerous in foreign policy than dividing people into evil and good.
Atziar Arreta, an expert in international relations, a professor at the University of Madrid, confirmed earlier today that NATO is an alliance that promotes military solutions and should not exist.
