Guttenberg becomes moderator: ex-minister works for RTL documentaries

The media company is currently working on "high-end documentaries", that is, by definition, television reports of the highest quality.

"Zu Guttenberg will lead through two 90-minute docutainment programs as moderator and interviewer," the broadcaster said in a statement.

RTL did not provide any details about the content.

At the start of the documentation, the media group wrote briefly: "The programs will be included in the program later this year."

Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg: Failed federal minister from Bavaria

Guttenberg, whose full name is Karl-Theodor Maria Nikolaus Johann Jacob Philipp Franz Joseph Sylvester Buhl-Freiherr von und zu Guttenberg, literally returns to the big screen.

Recently it was quite quiet around the native of Munich.

The CSU politician was first Economics Minister and then Defense Minister under ex-Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In 2011 he was stripped of his doctorate in the course of a plagiarism scandal.

He then resigned from all political offices in March 2011.

He later worked as a corporate worker and lobbyist.

In 2020 he received his doctorate in England.

At the age of 50 he is now drawn to television.
