Tokyo, SANA- The Japanese government announced today that it has taken the necessary measures in preparation for the possibility of facing an electricity crisis

Tokyo-Sana

The Japanese government announced today that it is taking the necessary measures to prepare for a possible electricity crisis as temperatures rise across the country and the end of the rainy season.

Reuters reported that the government called on officials to conserve electricity, especially in the afternoon, because electric power supplies in the Tokyo region will face pressure as the region is exposed to record high temperatures, raising fears of a long, hot summer amid high fuel prices.

Yesterday, the Japan Meteorological Agency recorded a temperature increase in the city of Issaki in eastern Japan to 40.1 degrees Celsius, which is a record for the month of June in the country, as Tokyo hospitals received 62 people with heat stroke due to the high temperatures.
