Joins Gal: Gal Gadot's protest against abortion ban Israel today

2022-06-27T09:33:29.841Z

The Israeli-Hollywood star decided not to be silent and put on a poignant series of stories, which although not written in her own words - but combined various quotes, performances and references to express her firm position on the sensitive issue that shakes the whole world

Every word she writes or does not write is carefully considered because of her immense status and social power online, but this time Gal Gadot decided not to remain silent and chose to respond to the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn the ruling allowing women to have abortions.

Although Gadot chose not to write a post in her own words, it was enough to go through the line of stories she uploaded to Instagram yesterday (Sunday) and shared with her 83.1 million followers to understand her position on the issue that is shaking the whole world.

Gadot, as mentioned, has carefully selected a series of five different art exhibits, each with a message that touches on that sensitive point.

The first was an illustration with the caption Motherhood by choice, "Mothers by choice", followed by a short video between a few seconds by the coquettish artist, another illustration with the caption Women aren't the only ones who get abortions, "Women are not the only ones who have an abortion", illustration Of judges, and finally an illustration by the late Liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with her famous quote on the subject: "The decision whether to bear a child is essential to a woman's life, well - being and self-esteem. It is a decision she must make for herself. "She is treated less than a whole person who is responsible for his decisions."

As you may recall, last Friday the Supreme Court of the United States overturned in a dramatic and controversial decision the famous ruling "Row v. Wade" of 1973, which allowed abortions across the United States.

The verdict, as expected, caused a stir when a number of celebrities in the United States and abroad reacted to the decision and came out against it in a variety of protests across the network and on the streets.
