The government strongly reminds the public to strictly abide by the mandatory testing requirements and complete the mandatory testing on time.

The government has set up mobile sampling stations in various districts, and even those who have been vaccinated must undergo the above-mentioned mandatory testing.

The spokesman said that those who have tested positive in the past three months (including the positive nucleic acid test cases recorded by the Department of Health and the positive self-rapid antigen test cases reported to the Department of Health) are not required to undergo mandatory testing.

As for those who are required to undergo compulsory testing (except those who have tested positive for the rapid antigen test above and have made a declaration), they must undergo nucleic acid testing in accordance with the relevant compulsory testing announcement, and cannot use rapid antigen testing to meet the requirements of the announcement.

In other words, a negative rapid test result will not be considered to meet the mandatory testing requirements.

In addition, persons subject to mandatory testing cannot submit deep throat saliva samples to meet the mandatory testing requirements unless they hold a medical certificate proving that the combined nasal and throat swab samples cannot be tested due to health reasons.
