The ambassador of the Lugansk Republic to Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, announced that all the hostages from the “Azot” in Severodonetsk were released and the area was cleared of militants.

Miroshnik said in a statement today, according to RIA Novosti news agency: "No one is left hostage, the Azot industrial zone has been completely liberated from Ukrainian militants, and some residents remain there, including those who do not want to leave the Severodonetsk region, and they are the people who decided to stay at the moment and our soldiers provide them with food, water and medicine."

"There are just over 500 people who decided to leave the shelter in the Severodonetsk region at the Azot plant, and they were transported mainly by transport to Starlobsk, where there is a distribution point where people decide where they want to go next," he added.
