During the second vaccination campaign against the Corona virus, the mobile teams of the Al-Hasakah Health Directorate are seeking to reach the Qamishli countryside and the population centers where there are no fixed health centers.
And the Director of Health, Dr. Issa Khalaf, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate provided vaccines for the Corona virus and seeks to ensure that it reaches all citizens in remote areas who did not receive the vaccine, in addition to completing the rest of the doses for those who previously took doses in the previous campaign, in cooperation with the World Health Organization and a number of from charities.
Khalaf explained that the directorate has allocated trained medical teams specialized in giving the vaccine and raising awareness simultaneously with the aim of expanding the base of benefit, protecting the community, preventing infection and alleviating symptoms if infection occurs.
In the villages of Ashwan, Al-Kadimi and Al-Haminat, where the medical team works, the head of one of the mobile teams, Obeida Al-Ali, indicated that citizens are waiting for the mobile teams to come to take the free vaccine, which is secured for them and deliver it to their homes in order to immunize themselves from the risk of infection with the virus.
In turn, the communications officer in the Al-Hasakah Health Directorate, Alia Al-Hamidah, indicated that the communication team consists of 15 members divided into five teams and is working on surveying the Qamishli area and its countryside, supervising and communicating with the mobile teams and urging them to work hard to educate citizens about the importance of taking the vaccine.
The number of those who received the vaccine against the Corona virus in the first national campaign reached about 18 thousand citizens throughout the regions of Al-Hasakah Governorate.
