The branch of the Cooperative Agricultural Bank in Soran disbursed the first batch of the values ​​of the wheat crop delivered by farmers to the grain receiving centers and the Foundation for Seed Propagation in Hama.

The director of the bank’s branch, Yasser Zeidan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the value of the first payment amounts to 3.910 billion Syrian pounds, of which 2.375 billion Syrian pounds are the values ​​of marketed wheat to the Syrian grain centers, and 1.535 billion pounds are the values ​​of marketed wheat for the benefit of the branch of the Foundation for Propagation of Seeds, and they are being easily disbursed to farmers without delay. Availability of the necessary liquidity to disburse new payments during the coming days according to the schedules received with the names of the beneficiaries, after deducting the debt owed to the bank, if any.

Zaidan pointed out that the rate of exchange is related to the quantities of wheat delivered to the grain and multiplication centers, which is expected to increase gradually over the next few days with the continuation of harvesting operations and the receipt of the crop, indicating that the bank branch's collections amounted to 148 million pounds.
