Today, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned against any US or Western attempt to illegally use Russian funds frozen abroad, stressing that such an attempt would become a direct theft.
"Russian funds abroad have been illegally blocked and any attempts to use them in some way will become direct theft," Peskov said in a statement to reporters today.
On the other hand, Peskov pointed out that the United States did not notify Russia of plans to provide Ukraine with medium and long-range missile defense systems, declaring that his country is taking measures to protect its interests on an ongoing basis.
