The police uncovered three cases of imitation firearms this morning (27th). During the operation, the police seized 38 imitation firearms, 8 knives, 1 retractable stick, a batch of gas masks, a batch of anti-government flags and other evidence.
Police said that there is no evidence to show that the three arrested persons are related, nor is it related to the earlier shooting in Central.

Investigation into whether young people are being manipulated into illegal activities
The New Territories South Regional Crime Squad found someone selling gas masks and gas mask filters in an online group earlier. Photos were also displayed online. They targeted a 17-year-old middle school student and arrested them early this morning. A batch of items was found in his home, including air guns, retractable sticks, jackknives, hammers, gas masks, a batch of filters, as well as newspapers with "Time of Light", "Hong Kong Independence" flags and anti-government slogans.
The arrested 17-year-old is still being detained.
The Chief Inspector of the Serious Crime Unit, Chen Jiaying, said that the police will investigate the source of the items and whether other people are involved in the case. There is currently no evidence that the arrested person had posted on the Internet inciting others to commit suicide on July 1. A 23-year-old man who reported being unemployed was arrested. He is currently being detained.
Imitation firearms and sabres will be further tested, and the investigation is still ongoing, and more arrests cannot be ruled out.
The Kowloon West Regional Crime Unit also raided a residential unit in Sham Shui Po and seized 27 air guns, including 9 long guns and 18 short guns, as well as 56 magazines and 3 sabres.
A 44-year-old Chinese man was arrested, who reported to be a delivery worker and is being detained for investigation.
