The war in Ukraine is raging - but according to Volodymyr Zelenskyj it must end this year, at the latest before the onset of next winter.
According to participants, the Ukrainian President said this in a video link with the heads of state and government at the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau.
For the time after the war, Zelenskyj asked the G7 countries for massive help with reconstruction.
The summit of the seven important democratic industrialized countries began on Sunday afternoon and will last until Tuesday.
The Russian war of aggression against Ukraine is one of the dominant topics - the switch with Zelenskyj took place in the late morning.
