During a day off in Kelheim, a sex offender took the opportunity and fled.
The police are searching feverishly and warn against picking up hitchhikers.
Kelheim – Disturbing news from Lower Bavaria: A sex offender fled when he was released.
So far, the police have not been able to find the 59-year-old man.
He is classified as dangerous.
Bavaria: Dangerous sex offender escapes when released
A 59-year-old sex offender was on an accompanied release near the Weltenburg monastery near Kelheim, not far from Regensburg.
The man escaped.
The police were feverishly looking for him, and a helicopter was also in action.
According to the police press release, the sex offender is classified as dangerous.
