Six policemen were killed and four others injured in an armed attack in the Nuevo Leon province, which is witnessing violence linked to drug trafficking.
The news agency AFP quoted the provincial authorities that clashes took place last night when unknown armed men who were in about ten armored trucks targeted police officers, killing six policemen and wounding four others.
Mexico is witnessing a cycle of violence that has killed at least 340,000 people, most of them in operations attributed to organized crime, since 2006.
