The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Ethiopian army's killing of Sudanese soldiers and decided to immediately summon its ambassador to Ethiopia for consultations and summon the Ethiopian ambassador in Khartoum to inform him of Sudan's condemnation of this inhumane behavior.
The Sudanese News Agency, SUNA, quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying today, "The government of Sudan reserves the full right guaranteed by the Charter of the United Nations to defend its lands and the dignity of human beings." inhumane.”
The ministry considered that “this behavior constitutes a heinous crime that goes against the principles of international humanitarian law,” noting that a formal complaint has been initiated to the Security Council and the relevant international and regional organizations.
The Sudanese government announced earlier that the Ethiopian army had killed seven Sudanese soldiers and a civilian and mutilated their bodies after they were kidnapped from inside Sudanese territory on the 22nd of this month and taken into Ethiopian territory.
