The debate in the plenum began: Will the law to dissolve the Knesset go to a vote? | Israel today

The coalition and the opposition are holding discussions regarding the law to dissolve the Knesset, and the discussion on the issue in the Knesset committee has not yet taken place - but the ambition is that it will go to a vote today.

The Knesset plenum is expected to convene today (Monday) at 16:00 for a meeting, against the background of the heated discussions between the coalition and the opposition regarding the law to dissolve the Knesset in the Knesset committee, and the date for the elections.

If things go as planned, the law to dissolve the Knesset is expected to be put to a vote already.

In the afternoon, an agreement was reached between the parties, and it seems that the election will take place on November 1.

The coalition pushed for this date to give Yair Lapid more time as the transition prime minister.

The opposition pressured for their existence on October 25, before the yeshiva students returned to the frameworks.

The plenary session will be broadcast live on the website and in the "Israel Today" widget.
