Big names in art
It was in 1957 that the Moulin d'Andé entered this creative and musical era.
As soon as she arrived, Suzanne Lipinska began to receive artists there.
Meetings are informal and visitors bewitched.
Maurice Pons the first: fell in love with the place, the writer never leaves it.
Five years later, Suzanne, Maurice Pons and a few friends created the Andé mill cultural association.
The artists' residence takes shape: the establishment then more officially hosts an infinity of great names in literature, cinema and music, from Alain Delon and Romy Schneider to Jacques Dutronc, Françoise Hardy, Jeanne Moreau and Jean- Louis Trintignant.
