Under the title (Your safety matters to us), the Electricity and Communications Workers Union in the Daraa Workers Union and the General Electricity Company of Daraa, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch, held today a workshop on the use of means and equipment for occupational health, safety and industrial security.

The workshop aims to enhance the concept of occupational health and safety for workers in their workshops and workplaces, while informing them of the precautionary measures taken to provide protection and safety for them. The head of the Electricity and Communications Workers Union, Ziad Arar, indicated that worker safety is a priority and calls for all measures and measures to be taken to reduce work injuries by securing equipment Prevention and occupational safety and adherence to it.

In turn, the Director General of Daraa Electricity Company, Eng. Hani Al-Masalma, explained that there are efforts to secure means of occupational health and safety, part of which has been secured in cooperation with the Red Crescent branch, provided that other quantities will follow to be distributed to the workshops.

The lecturer, Engineer Ihsan Hamdan from Daraa Electricity Company, indicated that the large number of injuries during work in the recent period requires taking all preventive measures and using occupational health and safety means.
