Drunk bathers repeatedly provoke police operations in the Therme Erding.

But no one has been as dramatic as the one on Sunday evening for a long time.

Erding – Harald Pataschitsch, deputy head of the Erding police station, reports that around 10 p.m. on Sunday, the police operations center received an emergency call about a threatening situation.

A 24-year-old bather from Nuremberg could no longer find his cell phone after his stay at the Therme Erding.

He accused the staff of having something to do with the loss.

According to Pataschitsch, the young man was not only drunk, but also under the influence of drugs.

This ominous mixture made the Franconian completely freak out and grab a knife, with which he threatened the thermal bath employees.

The police immediately moved in with several patrols.

Officers managed to isolate the attacker in a corner of the checkout area.

The man threatened her with the knife and uttered insults.

After all: According to Pataschitsch, there was no longer any acute danger for employees, guests and emergency services.

According to Pataschitsch, his colleagues therefore refrained from approaching the man from Nuremberg at great risk.

Instead, a special task force moved in.

The SEK was able to overwhelm the man at around 12:15 a.m.

At this point, the thermal baths were already closed.

Under police escort, an ambulance drove the man to the Erdinger Klinikum.

It happens again and again that drunk bathers provoke a large-scale police operation in the Therme Erding.

A woman who rioted particularly wildly had to be imprisoned as a result.
