The Tel Aviv District Court is expected to deliver the sentence tomorrow (Tuesday) to the defendants in the State Attorney's Office's flagship case in the war on organized crime, known as "Parsha 512".
At the center of the case is Yitzhak Abergil, who led one of the largest criminal organizations operating in Israel, and as part of the proceedings, five state witnesses testified and one defendant died in his cell in prison.
The indictment in case 512, was filed in July 2015 and attributes to the brothers Yitzhak and Meir Abergil, Avi Rohan, Moti Hussein and 14 other defendants a series of offenses.
Abergele was accused of leading the criminal organization, murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, grievous bodily harm, aggravated injury and causing actual bodily harm.
He was also charged with exporting and importing drugs and evading tax - all as part of a criminal organization.
At the heart of the affair is the attempted assassination of the criminal Zeev Rosenstein, who was defined as a "criminal attack" and claimed the lives of three innocent civilians.
Rosenstein himself was not harmed.
Some of the defendants, including Meir Abergil, signed a plea agreement in which they pleaded guilty and were convicted.
The rest, led by Yitzhak Abergil and our right-hand man Avi Rohan, fought for their innocence over the years, but about six months ago the main defendant Abergil was convicted of murdering three civilians in a criminal attack in 2003, when he tried to assassinate his opponent Zeev Rosenstein.
The court further ruled that Abergele headed a criminal organization and controlled it unchallenged.

The indictment states that during the years 2006-2002, a criminal organization from an institution in Israel and around the world headed by Yitzhak Abergil operated in a unique structure that includes dozens of managers and "soldiers" who organized into criminal groups specializing in various criminal areas, from the most severe to criminal law.
The groups have weakened different territories and areas of practice in an orderly hierarchy, and in cooperation between them, with a common goal that is to take over the criminal world in Israel, while waging a bloody war of attrition against those they have defined as their enemies.
The culmination of this war is in the incidents described in the third and fourth indictments, according to which an explosive device designed to injure Zeev Rosenstein, three innocent people - Naftali Meged, Rahamim Tzruya and Moshe Mizrahi, were killed and dozens of innocent people were injured.

According to the indictment, during 2002, Yitzhak Abergil and his brother Meir declared a conflict between their organization and the criminal Rosenstein, criminals from the Ohana family and the criminals Felix and Asi Abutbul.
Yitzhak Abergil suspected that the rival families had banded together against his organization and that they were responsible for the murder of his brother Yaakov Abergil.
As part of the conflict, and in order to establish the organization's status and Abergele's status, members of the organization, according to the indictment, murdered Felix Abutbul, David Bitton ("Daydona"), Hanania Ohana, between 2002 and 2004, and attempted to assassinate Zeev Rosenstein on several occasions. .

Along with serious violent offenses, the organization has also extended its arms to widespread drug offenses in Israel and in many different countries around the world.
The drug arm of the organization also operated in an organized, hierarchical, systematic and professional manner, generating huge profits that were used by the organization to strengthen it and realize its goals.
As part of the trial, dozens of prosecution witnesses were heard and thousands of exhibits were submitted to the court by the prosecution, mainly wiretapping conversations, during which members of the organization were heard planning and implementing the organization's criminal plan.
In 2020, Yosef (Jojo) Levy was found dead in his cell in Ayalon Prison.
Levy was one of the soldiers in the Ashdod group and was accused of involvement in the assassination attempt on Zeev Rosenstein.
