Inhabitants of the municipalities of Puerto Cortés and Omoa, in Honduras, suffer during this season the contamination of their beaches by garbage from Guatemala.
The waste has deteriorated the natural landscape and puts both marine life and tourism in the area at risk.
CNN's Elvin Sandoval visited the area and tells us how authorities and citizens have to learn to live with garbage from another country while looking for a solution to the problem.
