UGC Secretary-General Deng Te has tested positive for nucleic acid and is being quarantined in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.

Deng Tekong's last work date was last Friday (24th). He wore a mask and complied with relevant epidemic prevention measures at work. He also regularly performed rapid antigen tests and obtained negative results. He has no recent travel history.
