The Secretariat of the University Grants Committee said today (27th) that the nucleic acid test result of UGC Secretary-General Deng Tekang was positive, and he was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia.
UGC Secretary-General Deng Te has tested positive for nucleic acid and is being quarantined in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.

Deng Tekong's last work date was last Friday (24th). He wore a mask and complied with relevant epidemic prevention measures at work. He also regularly performed rapid antigen tests and obtained negative results. He has no recent travel history.
The UGC Secretariat has thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the relevant offices, and will continue to strictly implement various anti-epidemic measures, including requiring staff to conduct regular rapid antigen tests, and has reminded all staff to observe personal hygiene and be vigilant at all times.
