The attack comes after at least one person was killed and six others were injured in a bomb blast carried out by the Russian military yesterday on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
According to state reports, cruise missiles hit two residential buildings directly, one of which partially collapsed.
Since Saturday, Russia has stepped up missile strikes on western and northern Ukraine.
The latest bombings have targeted military installations across the country, including a large Ukrainian army training facility located in the northern Ukrainian town of Dasna, as well as workshops for the repair of military vehicles in Zhytomyr province.
