Huang Chubiao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Greater Bay Area Airlines, announced today (27th) that Xu Hanzhong, current board member and member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, will immediately replace Qiu Yinghua as the CEO of Greater Bay Area Airlines.

The successor-designate Chief Executive Li Jiachao announced earlier that Yau Yinghua will join the new government as Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development and will be sworn in on July 1, 2022.
Huang Chubiao and all members of the Greater Bay Area Aviation Board of Directors expressed their sincere congratulations to Qiu Yinghua on his new appointment and wished him to make greater contributions to Hong Kong's economic and people's livelihood development under the leadership of Li Jiachao.
Xu Hanzhong is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was the president of Hong Kong Huamin Airlines and the CEO of Dragonair.
He was also appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Airport Authority Hong Kong in 2007 and is currently a Director of Greater Bay Area Airlines.
Qiu Yinghua, the former chief executive of Greater Bay Area Airlines, joined the new government as the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development.
