A drunk Eurasburger kicked a police officer - and cursed like a sparrow.

Now she needs therapy.

Wolfratshausen/Eurasburg – A 50-year-old woman had to answer to the district court for resisting law enforcement officials in combination with insult and attempted bodily harm.

The accused, who had already been convicted of dangerous bodily harm, got into an argument with an acquaintance on the night of October 31 to November 1, 2021, who alerted the police at around 3 a.m.

"She was just loud and screaming," recalled a police officer who appeared as a witness.

Together with a colleague he drove to an apartment in Wolfratshausen.

The caller and his acquaintance, who did not want to leave his room, were waiting there.

She did not want to follow a reference issued by the police.

"I had to push her out of the door frame: it was a huge ordeal to get her into the car," said the police officer.

Insults such as "son of a bitch", "bull pigs" and further resistance in the vehicle follow: The accused kicked at the police officer and tried to bite him.

"She could hardly be tamed," the operations manager stated.

During the scuffle, the 50-year-old suffered a small laceration on her eye, which had to be sewn up with two stitches in the district clinic.

An alcohol test taken there showed a value of 1.3 per thousand.

"I can hardly remember that night," the Eurasburger claimed at the hearing.

Only in the sobering-up cell at the police station did she come to rest.

Attorney Almut Jung, who has known her client for many years, pleaded for a four-month suspended sentence with a special condition.

"Because of the danger to herself and others, she should do three months of therapy to end her alcohol addiction," she suggested.

Prosecutors had previously requested that an 18-month suspended sentence be suspended.

Judge Helmut Berger followed the lawyer's suggestion, but set the suspended sentence at six months.

After three consultations, Caritas decides whether the therapy is to be carried out on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

The unemployed mother of two and former nanny, who claims to be plagued by a debt of 70,000 euros, accepted the verdict with relief.

"I'm now trying to walk the rest of my life without alcohol," she promised.

Progress has also been made in another case in Wolfratshausen: After the brutal attack on party guests, the police were able to identify three suspected main perpetrators.
